How We Work
Our garden design process begins with an initial visit, which is free of charge, where we discuss your requirements and help you decide which style you prefer. Most designs can be broken up into individual elements such as hard landscaping – for example paving and block – or soft landscaping – for example returfing. During this visit, we will take measurements of your garden and leave brochures for you to peruse at your leisure.
In the meantime we create a bespoke, detailed hand-drawn garden design which is individual to you and reflects our discussions during the initial visit. At the next consultation, we present the bespoke garden design to you and run through our extensive portfolio to help you decide what materials you want for your garden. We find it’s helpful for clients to view the variety of options available and how they work in gardens before committing to their own design. At this stage it is also preferable that all interested parties are present so that we can be confident the completed work will meet everyone’s requirements.
At this stage we confirm the measurements and final approval of the garden design. We are also happy to discuss further ideas and any alterations to ensure that you will be delighted with your finished design.
Once all measurements and products are confirmed, we will then provide a verbal quotation.
Should you choose to proceed with the design, a written contract will be provided to represent the entire process from excavation to installation. An indication of estimated timescales will be included in the contract. We aim to be on site between 8am and 9am throughout the works and you will be kept updated on progress during the project.
Once we have finished the work, we carry out an inspection with you to make sure everything has been completed to your satisfaction.
